Our FOOD
We wanted to be a kitchen from the start. Heart of the house source of sustenance warmth and hospitality. A kitchen table is what we sat around discussing what evolved into Hatch and Sons and it remains central to what we do. All day dining of an informal and easy nature. No fuss just good honest Irish food.

FRIDAY SUPPER CLUB
We kick off our Friday Supper Club in St Stephen's Green this autumn. We open until 9 pm (last orders 8 pm) and serve a three-course supper for €30 pp including coffee or tea.
It's worth noting our neighbours upstairs in the Little Museum of Dublin host a Georgian house party every Friday at 6pm.

OUR COFFEE
Comes from our friends The Barn in Berlin. With direct links to farmers and small batch roasting this is coffee as it should be. At least we think so. Something special. Something to be savoured.
Our filter coffee, we believe, trounces an Americano every time. Have a taste. Its on us. We brew frequenitly throughout the day

Our STORY
In 1872 William Hatch owner of a successful hackney cab business at 16 Duke Street could see the writing not on the wall but in the tram lines that had been laid on the streets of Dublin despite the protests of businesses in the city centre. Service by the Dublin Tramways Company from Dublin to Terenure began on 1 February that year.
